The Brief – Web Development
My remit was to improve the performance of ashmei’s website; specifically improve the customer’s online experience of the buying process, reduce bounce rates and cart abandonment and increase both traffic conversions and average basket value.
Achieving these objectives required improving web content and internal links for greater SEO, testing different iterations of landing pages for product promotions and increasing the eCommerce upsell and cross sell potential. Website speed needed to be increased and page load time, especially on mobile, needed to be reduced and this was achieved through reducing site size and optimising site content across all platforms.
This project also involved some ongoing design improvements and troubleshooting of technical issues.
