The Dulwich Art Group & School
The Brief – Web Design & Build
The Dulwich Art Group & School was looking to update its website and increase functionality. My brief was to redesign the look and feel of the site within the parameters of the art group’s brand and develop a site that was SEO friendly and mobile optimised to improve the user experience and be integral to growing awareness for the organisation.
I created a dynamic homepage that made full use of imagery that represented the school and focussed on showcasing all the classes. I re-designed the course page templates in line with the new look of the site, focusing on consistent layout and strong well optimised copy, linking through from the homepage.
Key elements to improving website functionality, included creating an online sign-up form for models and linking this through to the in-house database as well as setting up the e-commerce facility. I created a full schedule of classes and events and developed an online booking system for each of the classes.
The second key remit of this project was the development of internal systems to effectively store and manage customer data. I set up an online CRM for customers and models and linked this to the website enquiries form submission and online class bookings.

The Brief – Ongoing Website & Internal Systems Support
I continue to work with the Dulwich Art Group & School to develop website functionality in line with the requirements of the group and carry out ongoing requested adjustments to improve the customers’ online experience. During 2020 and the Covid-19 pandemic the art group needed to go online and I helped set up classes as virtual zoom sessions with online booking and payment. As the country is moving out of lockdown in 2021, the website is able to manage both in person and online bookings and the art school has been able to successfully broaden their reach and increase their customer base during this difficult period.
