The Brief – Web Design & Build
I was asked to create a new website for Velosport in December 2017 that had several objectives. It needed to be a shop window and effectively showcase the services that the bike shop offered customers, with enquiry and booking options for each of the services. It also needed to have a full online store of bikes, clothing and accessories that were sold in the physical store.
From the design side, the brief was to create a clean, modern look and feel as an independent business that would stand it apart from the large chains.
The functionality had to include linking the online stock to the in store stock system.
The Brief – Digital Marketing
After the launch of the new website in February 2018, my remit was to continue to work with Velosport to drive traffic to the site to increase bookings for their services, sign ups to store events and sales of online products. This included building successful Google Adwords campaigns, social media communications and regular digital marketing communications to grow the customer database, increase overall customer engagement and drive both online and in store business.
